    Had a surreal moment in the Toronto-City airport where I heard snippets of a conversation somewhere behind me … words like “analysis” and then talking about a number of “jets” to be reconstructed … and suddenly realized this must be an LHC collider physicist. Didn’t get to introduce myself, as I did not want to interrupt, but you gotta love moments like that.

    Getting ready to fly from Sudbury -> Toronto -> Boston. Delays incurred from the ice storm yesterday will make today more complicated than we wanted, but we are excited to see my parents in Connecticut.     TIL that running Teams on IOS seems to then prevent the use of the mechanical “smart keyboard” for typing in any application. You can still use the keyboard to switch windows (e.g., cmd tab), but NOT type actual letters or words. …???? (Might just be my iPad Pro, of course)
