      Doctor Who composer Dudley Simpson has died, aged 95
      from The Independent
      Dudley Simpson, who wrote music for Doctor Who, has died aged 95. The Australian-born composer wrote music for around 290 episodes for the BBC science-fiction series between the 1960s and 1970s. Simpson first began working on Doctor Who during William Hartnell's tenure as the first Doctor, even appearing on the show during the 1977 episode 'The Talons of Weng-Chiang', playing an on-screen composer.  When John Nathan-Turner took over as producer in 1980, Simpson was removed as composer, his last episode being 'The Horns of Nimon'.

    I actually enabled it. It's trivial to work out where I am. However I am guilty about not using #Tor enough. Adding noise to the signal of people with legitimate reason to keep the IP addresses of their communication endpoints secret is useful; attempting to hide my physical location doesn't assist anybody who needs to hide theirs.

    That's commitment. Pertwee and Baker are my years, but there's a lot of heavy going even there. You've a treat in store with much of Davison (Colin Baker best passed over) and McCoy's brilliant last two years, which were basically New Who on a shoestring budget. #DrWho
