I'm about halfway on board to using VS Codium again because I love the project, but now I gotta figure out what extensions send telemetry data back to M$.

It's a pain, but if I can lick that issue, I can have a have VSCode completely free of M$'s non-sense.

@popstar Yeah, that's kind of the biggest thing for me.

The context of being able to create a context that is actually helpful and healthy for your well being and progress as a person.

It's hard work, but that is THE work because it's universal and connects us all together in that effort to be better people no matter what our background is.

It crazy how much of an effect it has on your life when you commit to it.

Of course, I was a hot ass mess that would have been FLAMED and CANCELLED when I was in my 20s, so I'm fortunate people are meeting this version of me.

But yeah, I do feel like I'm finally starting that I don't have to just react and I can consider and think about things.

It was a LONG time in the making, but the difference is literally night and day.

Ha, but yeah you're not wrong. I think what I'm experiencing is what happens when one commits to self care because most of my life I've just gotten used to toughing it out and not taking care of myself.

It seems like such a basic thing, but committing to a routine where you take care of yourself has really been profound for me.

And folks notice. I constantly get comments about the energy they feel from me.

And I can't understate the effect of switching to a vegetarian diet as well.

I'll still slip when I'm out on dates with chicken or fish, but my primary diet has been meat free for a couple of weeks now and the results have been pretty remarkable.

In combination with all of the other changes I've made, it seems it has made a profound difference in my overall health and conditioning.

It's weird how your body responds when you're giving it what it needs.
