🍊 know's he's wrong. His entire cadre of sympathizers, supporters and sycophants knows he's wrong. They're not stupid.

But they also know white people have more energy around defending their pets rather than Muslims, despite what they say in the media. They _know_ will people perform they don't agree, but they won't do shit to stop it.

The thing is when we were on FB,
Birdland, IG, etc, we could say OH IT'S THE PLATFORM THAT EVIL AND JUST WANTS TO DO WHATEVER FOR PROFIT b/c in many respects it was true.

Now that we're not, it's interesting to see how the same acts bigotry, hate, and general dickheadedness still target the same people without much pushback.

People's actions tell you what they are about and who they are everyday.

Pay attention to those go silent when the conversations shift to protecting people.

Poverty is not a personal failing. There are lots of people to blame, and none of them are you. People should go out of their way to help you. They should immediately talk to everyone they can trying to get you in a safe situation. They should call in favors you can't. You should not only have enough to not die, you should thrive and those around you should help you do that.
