So, I get an invite for a chat room for Masto stuff, and there is a particular room that is designated for handling disagreements between folks. That's pretty cool.

The name of said room is "Israeli-palestinian-rap-battle".

So basically it's just a room for white folks to gripe about stuff they don't like.

Really digging how you can check color contrast ratios in Firefox dev tools. That's really cool.

So while it has been a profoundly difficult year for me personally, I've come out the other side leaner, smarter, faster, tougher.

I'm not the type to make resolutions, but I feel good about the foundation that I've fought for this year.

I feel great about the direction my life is taking even though there were moments I wasn't sure if it was the right direction.

Yeah, doing what I do is still going to be hard, but I know I can handle the effort.

It's just part of the story.

I've endured some pretty significant injuries this year as I attempt to change my life in such a manner where everything promotes me creating a positive environment for people. How I eat, what I watch, who I talk to, what people I decide to work with.

No, PV doesn't make enough to do all that I need, but it'll get there. Yeah, I've lost some significant relationships, but it's opened the door deepen existing ones and find healthier ones.

Yeah, it's been a fight, but I'm ok...

This has been a hard ass year for me. I'm still getting over the loss of a relationship that I thought I was going to be it for me, my finances have been a dumpster fire, I've lost a couple of friendships that really hurt and it looks like I'm going to be in the States for awhile. Meh.

But at the same time, I've put myself on a path to work how I want with people that I respect. My overall health is vastly improved and the slow build of PV is very gratifying.

So I'm kinda grateful?
