@karolat That is the most intelligent thing you’ve said yet.
I’m glad we agree on that point.

@karolat Ha, but you’re not Black… so it is bullshit.
LOL, this person has been talking wild shit about me for months and now they want to have a ‘civil’ conversation.
Ha, these bigots are a trip man.
@karolat Of course you wouldn’t, but stating ‘if i was Black I wouldn’t want are0h speaking for me’ is not criticism. it’s pure bullshit. you’re not Black and no Black person speaks for all Black people, dickhead.
And as I’ve stated my position on here many times, no I will repeat myself because you want to be contrary.
You fancy yourself as an intelligent person. Prove it instead of taking shots at me when you think I’m not looking and grow the fuck up.
@karolat The bigger question is why do you think I would be open to discussing my ideas with someone that has been talking shit about me for months.
Riddle me that.
@karolat You’re not so shut the fuck up.
Ladies guys that don’t respect screening just stop text or hang up on him. He’s not worth it! Your safety is way more important then money. The right ones will come!! Don’t worry. I’m a supporter of the screening!! 😇😇😇
I have a specific community I want to build. That community will not be dependant on humoring bigots for the sake of it.
I think we have enough places that allow hateful people free reign to vomit their non-sense.
I am not building one of those places. I am not one of those people.
If you believe being tolerant to people trying to harm you is the way forward, you are following the wrong account.
I understand people want to believe I am ‘intolerant’ because I don’t allow bigots to waste my time or I don’t give them endless room to be hateful.
I’m fine with that, because if you cannot understand why respecting a person’s boundries is more important than humoring people that have no respect for them, then we are not on the same team.
If ignoring one’s safety and well being for the sake of conversation is ‘tolerance’ to you, then we’re just going to disagree. Forever.
I do not believe in giving people space to harm others in the hopes they change.
I do not believe in trying to reason with bigoted fools in the hopes they change their mind or come around.
What I do believe is that it is far more valuable to build bridges between decent people than trying to convince indecent and hateful ones to be basic and rational beings.
I believe there are more of us than them. Which is why I feel no reservations in blocking a fool that just want to be contrary.
I am here because I believe in building a community of like minded people that do not have to ignore each other’s background for the sake of diversity. I believe very strongly we can still be who are _and_ create an inclusive, sustainable community.
What I am not here for is to convince people of the obvious value of inclusiveness and diversity because they cannot see past their own biases.
If you want to be a hateful prick, cool. I do not and will not respect that. Period.
We can talk about anything under the sun, but if one’s premise is to ignore reality simply because the don’t agree with it, you’re defining yourself as a bigot.
In terms of society and culture, I’m not going to debate with someone’s subjectivity no matter how strongly they believe in it. And I have no interest in changing anyone’s mind.
Bigots typically do not like when I ignore their anecdotal non-sense when I’m talking about trends defined by history.
Which is kinda what makes them bigots.
This is the last thing I’m going to say about @paulfree14. Don’t be that guy.
Don’t be the dude that is so self righteous and myopic that they believe actling like a complete dick is the same as ‘criticism’ and ‘feedback’.
People like that only give a shit about themselve and not community building and cooperation.
They are charlatans hiding behind their insecurity and bias behind a flimsy mask of concern.
Be better than that.
This is not to say that dynamic cannot change. I believe in the ability of people to change, even if I don't see it very often.
But I have experienced marginalized white people weaponizing their state to push what they believe their idea of community is, and it's usually centered around violence and compliance. Which is typical whiteness.
No one is under any obligation to prove to me they are whatever.
But if one really wants community, they have to deal with that experience.
Yo, if you come at me rude and with hostility and I clap back, you are not being 'attacked'. That is me responding to you in the context you've set.
I do not owe anyone my civility or patience. If you want a reasonable exchange, act like a reasonable person.
If you can't take a punch to the face, don't come in swinging. Easy.
I very strongly believe the future of the web is people taking back control their space rather than relying on the convenience of using the services of corporate structures.
These places time and time again have proven they do not have our interest at heart and exploit our desire for convenience for their gain.
We gotta flip the script and stop expecting places who have never had our interests in mind to change.
We can do better. We don't need them.
Medium is so thirsty. No, I don't want a relationship. I just want to read an article, damn.
@Shotagonist LOL
Whoa! Germany gets a goal in the last minute of extra time. Somehow they figure out a way to stay alive. Wow.
@Julia Does not surprise me at all
