I believe the internet is one of the greatest idea humankind has ever come up with. The idea of independent and instant global communication is forward thinking at it's finest.

In the past, we relied on news organizations to get us our information about each other, and that shaped how we viewed the world.

Now, we don't really need that. They have their place, but the ability to talk to an actual person from another place has changed the necessity of that dynamic.

There is no logical reason a country with the population and resources of America still has poverty, homelessness, an embarrassingly awful healthcare system, an education system that is really just glorified daycare, an infrastructure that is rotting from the inside and a military so high on testosterone and steroids, it literally has to create conflicts to sustain itself.

How in the fuck do you even get in your mind to call this a 'progressive' country?

I know. I’m not going to fight being lazy today either. Enjoy today, beautiful people.
