Okay, I'm finally getting Emacs. The big draw? I can use it pretty much as a shell in both Windows and Linux.

And it needs 100MB of disk space. For what?! -

@thomas @rysiek @MichaelBall @killerdicke I guess as long as you're not serving anything sensitive from those microcontrollers... But I'd always prefer to use HTTPS when able.

That reminds me of the old joke about Perl being a "write once, read never" language ;p -

My view is that code in any kind of multi-developer project should be written with the understanding it primarily needs to be read by other people. I'd favour clear, verbose code over complex and clever any day. -

Yeah, it's so hard to read. It also makes trying to figure out the intent of code very difficult. -

Grim. I really dislike the callback style of async programming. It feels completely back-to-front. -

You can get the Emacs combination down to 8 keypresses by killing the line, re-pasting it, then pasting again.
Ugh.

Copying and pasting a line in vim is 4 keypresses:
ESC yy pCopying and pasting a line in Emacs is 10 keypresses:
C-a C-SPACE C-n M-w C-yThis is why I prefer vim.

None of the id3v2 libraries I've found for rust handle multiple artists in the TPE1 frame. Looks like I need to start work on that first.
