    Das Zeitalter des gedruckten Werkes ist am Ende? Nein, im Gegenteil: Es gilt genau das auch mit zu bewahren. Nur wenn "wir" verstehen woher wir kommen und was "wir" getan haben, können "wir" auch wirklich an einer Zukunft arbeiten. Davon einmal abgesehen: Mir wird schlecht, wenn ich diese Rufe nach dem digitalen Zeitalter lese. Und von Abhängigkeiten reden wir dann einfach nicht mehr, oder doch? Digitale Daten, gerade im Internet, können JEDERZEIT verändert und damit auch manipuliert werden, unterliegen einer Auswertung und Optimierung zwecks "Gewinn". Hört mit diesen unsinnigen Rufen auf und fokussiert euch einfach auch einmal auf die Vergangenheit, um überhaupt kausale Zusammenhänge verstehen zu können. #Stop-Playing-Bullshit #Ewig-Zukünftige #Sachzwänge #Falsche-Zusammenhänge

    Denken wir überhaupt über wichtige Themen nach? Wie sieht das mit der Wasserknappheit aus? Konzerne wie Nestlé auf der einen Seite. Aber gleichermaßen komplette Obseleszenz auf der anderen Seite. Die letzte Hitzewelle sollte Jedem von uns etwas Stoff für Denkprozesse liefern und insofern auch vor Augen führen WARUM Menschen Orte verlassen, WARUM Wasser knapp werden kann und das auch wird wenn wir nicht endlich einmal beginnen bei uns selbst auch einzuschränken. Nochmals zum Mitschreiben: "Jeder von uns lebt auf Kosten Anderer und letztendlich auch auf Kosten des Planeten selbst." Lasst uns bitte auch etwas zurück geben. #Gedanken #Meinung

    Gestern nochmals angesehen: "Das Microsoft-Dilemma". Schade: Die Dokumentation hat eine wirklich sehr gute und stabile Ausgangslage hinsichtlich Informationen und deren Aufarbeitung. Gerade auch hinsichtlich "Open-Hardware" wäre es wichtiger denn je. Aber an für sich ist auch die Lage bei der Software weiterhin nicht freiheitlich ausgerichtet und so ist das eine passende Ausgangssituation. Die EU-Staaten halten sich nicht an ihre eigenen Regeln hinsichtlich Ausschreibungen für Software und allein der Abgesang für das Projekt "Limux" in München lässt tief auf die Abhängigkeit zwischen Politik und Wirtschaft blicken. #Dokumentation #Fuck-Off-Microsoft

Sie vertritt ja weiterhin Prinzipien, die sie dann auf Linie mit der FDP wohlweislich bringen und diese wiederum kokettiert ebenso mit den rassistischen Vorurteilen der "politischen Mitte".     We let the companies implementing this bullshit-bingo with "Software as a Service", with "Online-Activation", with "Streaming-Services", with "DRM-Platforms" (Steam for example) and there was no further protest. Also there will be no further protest now when sites like emuparadise shutting down their really big archives, full with information and modules. So what's next? The next "hunt" for what exactly? The "ghost of the illegal copy"? There is no thing like "illegal copy". #Thoughts

    And just as an addition: Therefore systems like #Retrode-2 are more needed. Yes, they are not exclusive licensed throughout #Nintendo. But you know what? I give nothing about that. There are ROM-modules I've never heard of back then and I discover even new ones these days. So? Collecting and preserving them, so younger generations can have a look on those. And I don't want some unneede hipster-deals like "Mini-SNES" without the possibility to run the original ROM-modules without modifying, #Nintendo. Keep those proprietary hardware no need for this! #Thoughts

    Well as always it's not simple when talking about "emulating" old games on modern hardware. But now preservation of games is just to say threatened just because of companies having them licensed don't want those so-called ROM's being available without further paid.

    Well, thanks so far to #Nintendo for hunting down sites offering ROM's for free just because they don't want them being offered for "free". But where are the alternatives? And how to have those games being played in the future for younger generations? There would be no problem when the ROM's are offered for a price to be downloaded complete without DRM-methods. But that's not the way and we stand there now, having problems of newer generations disrespecting and even not understanding how technologies are evolving and perhaps using other ways, holding off sometimes instead being just in dependency of more proprietary nonsense at all. Thanks again to the companies, you are doing us such a great favor. In fact, you're doing just the opposite, but just being ironic at the moment. #Thoughts #Retro-Gaming #Without-Hope
