Being a META ARPA level (https://sdf.org/?tutorials/metaarray) member on @SDF has so much awesome privileges & perks... and one of these is 100 GB storage on SDF's NextCloud instance! (for $9/quarter!!) I did not realize I cld connect to it via webdav LOL my files R all over the place - local & in the cloud -- I need to get more organized. My Time Machine has been complaining to me that it cld no longer back up my HD because my TM HD is already full LOL I have accumulated so much crap through the years 🔥

SDF VOIP is amazing. I can't believe how good the call quality is! Talked to my mom in Norway for 2h, and my dad here in Canada for 2h. Now I'm in the market for a VOIP phone so I can actually have a phone!

BTW if you are experiencing audio dropouts, you can try power cycle (restart, reboot, etc etc) your modem! One listener suggested it and so far it is working for me! 👏👏👏👏

#GMail is harmful to e-mail ecosystem; its antispam blocking policy matches too many valid messages as spam.

It blocked LastPass email leak warning email, because it contained "a link" to a leaked site.

It blocked an e-mail from goverment agency addressed directly to me.

It discriminates all non-gmail servers, and it's pretty much impossible to own a private SMTP server these days, because GMail will classify everything as spam.

It's not how e-mail should work.

Consider dropping GMail.
