and a big hello from emacs 25.2.2!

HAHA! That worked! I changed to the testing repo for Debian and poof! Emacs 25 was there.

wait... I just had a thought...

OK so that came up a cropper and I don't really want to spend all night hunting up missing libs so I will stay with the emacs I have right now for the time being.

I think that I am about to get all geeky and update to the newest #emacs using git. I want to be on the bleeding cutting edge and not behind with what is in the Debian repo. I guess that I will have to reload mastodon, gnu-social, and elfeed as well. Might be fun.

@morph yes. So far theft has not been an issue even though we still live in town. (And to tell the truth a thief can have all the beets and turnips they want)

@morph I have to pick up a Dead truck about 80 miles from home and carry it back. So my day is fun.

@maiki I kept the devices and did have a sip phone-like app on it. So I could make a call if I had decent internet and really wanted to make a call. Truth is that hardly worked so I may as well have not had that.

My big thing is music, audiobooks, and ebooks. Those are the reasons for these devices. ;-)
