@kev as part of a challenge to expand my worldview, I'm trying to expose myself to perspectives that are non-white.

Obviously I won't follow someone just because they're non-white if I don't find them interesting.

My reasoning is that if you look at all the media I consume (written, audio, video) it's all from white people. Are there maybe messages in there I'm desensitized to that might be dangerous to marginalized groups? Idk, and probably won't unless I stop consuming that media for a while

I've often said that you can go so far left that you loop around and end up on the far-right. The problem is that the left doesn't really have a "limit" whereas with the right it's pretty much as long as you're not fascist and genocidal, you're probably alright. Am I making sense?
