@rtsn I often feel that way too.  But don't think I'm good enough to do anything real

I have found a new way to cheat at math problems.
Calculate a few values of the solution, using Haskell, or Python, or whatever suits you.  Then punch them into oeis.org and somebody will have already calculated the rest of the sequence, and given an analytic way to solve it.
oeis is the npm for !math

@rtsn ahh no! I was more interested in the message than the medium :-)  I wondered what you thought of the movie..
"How did you find it ? " is an British English way of asking "What did you think of it"

@maiyannah thats not what I said... OMFG !  Bazaar/Cathedral are dev practices; it's nothing to do with OSI/FSF or software freedom ethics. The metaphor you provided seemed contrived to me and not a good fit.  But whateverz. Enjoy.

@maiyannah it just means that mapping Cathedral -> OSI; Bazaar -> FSF doesn't work very well as a one line throwaway comment!

@maiyannah I don't think that works ... since ESR founded OSI && wrote that book

@mcscx everything in ZFS is checksummed.  https://blogs.oracle.com/bonwick/zfs-end-to-end-data-integrity but if it fails to import, at least I might be able to work out where the failure happened.

@mcscx what is md3sum ? I can't find it in FreeBSD ?  I think I will do a md5 of the files though.  They sizes are the same, it's just everything takes *so* *long*!
