MrsNYbill just walked passed me with a tape ruler in her hand.
This always costs me money...

70f with a little breeze. Deck weather! This won't last long...
I thought I had some books to read.
/me looks
I pulled out the old x230. Oh my, you should see the Arch updates. @theru would be shaking his head!
@pla1 Enjoy.
@pla1 I only ever have 2 there, over a meal. But, I fill the growler for home. ;)
@theru A growler of oatmeal Stout was procured.
TO THE PUB!
@cobra2 @theru just make sure no one finds out about youtube-dl all hell will break loose.
@theru @cobra2 I don't know. I figured they we the b-sides of singles. I download them from somewhere back in the day. I'm sure the statute of limitations is up. :P
@theru I'll give you some song titles later. They are written on the Cd's. The only one that pops into my head ATM is a song called Lewis. If you YouTube that it might suggest other b-sides.
@theru there are a lot of good early b-sides out there as well. I had 2 cd's worth burned back in the day. B-sides from OK Compuer and previous.
TO THE LUG!
MrsNYbill had the day off. When I got home she said, "Burger Night".
Yep. You guys can fill the logs for another 5gigs. :P
Just did that Linode upgrade, @theru. Lets see if it comes back...
@lnxw48a1 I don't recall and didn't really pay attention.
It was the identi.ca days, I think.
@klaatu Yep, I've found a few pockets of real fans/knowledge out there. TDPRI comes to mind.
But, most of the world just lives on what ever the Goog spits out.
Ah well, a new form of
Darwinism. :P
@klaatu I'm even out of the software realm on this one. I'm researching a problem with a Allen Bradly VFD (for work).
Ooof, its like I've gone back to the 90's on some of these forums!
The common reply is, "Buy a new one."
Anytime I go to look for help online troubleshooting something that is not open source/Linux I realize its still a jungle out there!
I'll go back to my happy, self reinforced, bubble.
@jezra This place has upped its game it seems! The 19th hole there used to be just a bar with burgers, sandwiches, etc... Pub food.
Now its a full dinner menu. And it was quite tasty!
We'll be back.
