When a company advertises something as "All new",

    it makes me wonder...

...just how many electronics companies use re-used parts.

Is there any law or rule, saying electronics manufacturors have to disclose where any parts are recycled? As a selling point, I'd proudly mention recycled parts, but, I'm not a marketer; could this be why? Hahaha.

I'm low-key hating the parents who gifted a set of soft pastels to my kid for his birthday. This morning I had to clean two hands, two arms, a neck, a chin, a table and a chair after an unsuccessful attempt at drawing grass with them.

    1 Be indecisive.

    Origin
Mid 17th century (in the dialect sense ‘tremble, quiver’): variant of dialect didder; related to dodder.

We must not dither in our choice of words. Be decisive. Speak out clearly. (That does not mean we must shout.)

I had to use a usb headset, to get an eyes-free install of #Debian Bullseye onto my Probook. The sound on the installer medium did not work, otherwise. Now that the install is done, sound is fine. That is, I can use any headset or the machine's own speakers for normal use.

I just updated the thinkpad's #Debian from #Buster to #Testing without apparent mishap. #GNU #Linux Safe to do same on probook? Maybe that one should be a clean install of Testing, since it was an in-place upgrade from Stretch to Buster, and there may be cruft from Stretch, as it is.

You're probably referring to the same widgit, but, mine was on theconversation.com Thanks for reporting; the crash is more-likely a side-effect of orca.
