The Justice Department has made it abundantly clear that they don't think they can indict a sitting president and now all I can think of is "Will The Real Donald Trump please stand up, please stand up?"
The news broke on Twitter this morning that Joe Armstrong, the creator of the Erlang programming language and one of the most influential figures in distributed and concurrent systems, has passed away.
Joe's work and ideas have had a significant impact on my career. On top of his professional accomplishments, by all reports he was a genuinely kind person as well.

@librelounge@emacsen@cwebber I'm just going off of feedburner (shock! horror!) and archive.org downloads. But then again I also try not to pay much attention to those numbers because even an audience of one is still an audience. :)
@emacsen@librelounge@cwebber That's an amazing number of listeners. Congratulations! (For reference, Open Metalcast has around 300 subscribers and around 200 listeners. And that's after 7+ years).

It seemed like a good idea to add pipenv to this project but my reasons are quickly evaporating under the heavy load of "what the fuck command do I need to give you in order to fucking work?"
@drwho@zatnosk Not sure about MBR, but Dope Stars Inc. did it when they mde a big deal about going independent (of all things). They pulled their album "Ultrawired" from Jamendo and closed their account.
That left a bad taste in my mouth about the project.
