I still use my 10 year old X360, not connected to the 'net, nothing disappears just because.
While I would like to get something newer, the requirements of being online almost all of the time and the fact that all(?) of the games are now download with subscription that can get revoked at any time keeps me away.

Even a Do Not Disturb sign on the now closed door (it was something to the effect of "unless the building is on fire, don't bother me"), signed by the owner, would keep people from bothering me because "It's only one question"...
