In fact, the most common use I've seen is "I just zelled $100 to my brother so he has enough to pay his rent" ... maybe there's a demographic difference between the users of of the different apps.
I remembered correctly. The Bay City Rollers chose their name by throwing a dart π― at a map πΊοΈ of the United States πΊπΈ. It struck near Bay City, #MI

lnxw48a1DataCamp's classes so far enforce unnecessary redundancy. Instead of @grep search-term filename | sort | uniq@, they require @cat filename | grep search-term | sort | uniq@ ... in Python3, they require @print(arrayname[index])@ when the py3 REPL will display it with @arrayname[index]@
Also, they use @bash scriptname arguments@ but break when you use @sh scriptname arguments@ instead.
I understand that, because many tutorials and courses teach such practices. But I wish their little playground gave options to use the other way also.
@clacke One thing that I'd like to see is that these sort of threads are followed up with a longer term reference format (e.g., blog post, wiki post) somewhere that is easily findable & searchable. If (for example) I was to decide to write my own language, this thread and its links and comments could be useful when I'm implementing it.

lnxw48a1This month, I'm putting in somewhat fewer steps each day and noticing that my legs are really feeling tired by the end of my daily walk. I have no explanation for the change, except that during the recent rain event I didn't do any outdoor walking for three consecutive days.
A smaller rain event is expected to arrive tomorrow, so there may be another such gap.
