    Trying to regulate the new hotel room's temperature. It tries to keep the temperature below 72⁰F / 22⁰C, but keeps going until it reaches 61⁰F / 16⁰C. At 90% relative humidity, that cold air blowing on me isn't comfortable.

    So I tried flipping it to heat, but it reached 79⁰F / 26⁰C. I tried turning it off, but it continued to blow. Finally, I just flipped it back to cool and went to bed.

    @clacke With the real Canada, people threaten to move there, but relatively few actually start the process. With the Fediverse and several other platforms, user counts show that people are actually moving. (But there's no guarantee they'll stay.)

    My half son #Daddy_A sent a new photo with his hair dyed green. He also pointed out that he tried something like my backward jump a few years ago and wound up sitting in an emergency room. But part of the difference is that he has limited motion and no feeling in his legs.

    Afterward, I remembered on time #sonTwo and I were walking to Target. We got to an intersection and I ran up, jumped, stuck out my arm and spun around a light pole.

    He was embarassed that I still acted like a middle schooler.

    There must be some sort of chemical plant upwind. Yesterday, there was light rain, accompanied by an odor. Twelve to sixteen hours later, the odor still persists.
