    #sonTwo has not given me any updates on the kids’ conditions. If they were worsening, I know he would have called. He did tell me that the doctor believes that all three boys and their mom caught #RSV and that the pneumonia that #GS4 and #GS5 got is a residual from that.

    Unfortunately, the doctor didn’t do any tests because he said the primary cause was over and done with. (I had asked whether the doctor had tested for any of the diseases that are filling emergency rooms right now: #COVID-19 / #2019-nCoV, RSV, #influenza / #flu )

    Also, I sent #GS3 a link to imagery of Tropical Cyclone Anggrek in the spinning harmlessly in the Indian Ocean. As it is in the Southern Hemisphere, it spins in the reverse direction. I'm hoping he notices this, so I can mention Coriolis force. No long explanation, just wanting to set the hook for a discussion when he's older.

    I saw no indication that my area received enough rain to cause flooding [1], but I also did not leave the house. I skipped the daily walk because of the rain.

    [1] Not counting the spot at the end of the street that forms a puddle with 2-3 inches of water any time there is precipitation.
