Gabbers work w feds. They’ve had campaigns where they’ve reported sex workers to police and the IRS. They’ve reported nonwhite Immigrants to ICE and the NSA. They’ve doxxed activists and abuse victims. This is not just a ‘free speech’ issue. You’re responsible for who you federate with and who you allow on your platform. Minimizing the threat they pose is just you minimizing your complicity in their violence. We’re not fooled.

that isn't super reliable, as they may change the keys or a contact_account may not exist, which leads me onto my second check:

2. check the response to "/users/[username].json", where any valid username on that instance goes in [username]. if a json-ld namespace named "gab" exists, then it is running gab social or a variation

using something like Cloudfront to distribute a podcast is overkill if you are just starting out

you can just upload the file(s) into WordPress and use that as your distribution method

though I will say if you want to move to a CDN at some point, it is better to use a sub-domain like cdn.example.com and then set up a vhost on your web server (simplifies uploading too, you can just use something like SFTP), this makes the transition process easier

So, I've been thinking. And you're all right. Neutral will never bring on change.

#FLOSS is riddled with the "we must stay neutral" mentality, this creates a problem in this space, it simply isn't safe for minorities to participate in a lot of the conversations.

This means being neutral isn't neutral at all.

Who's onboard to work on FLOSS from an anti-racist, intersectional feminist perspective?
