(Though Sage doesn't really like to eat plastic, she just loves chewing on plastic bags. She's actually really careful about never tearing off a piece. She prefers fastidiously puncturing every bit of it.)

Finally managed to get some food down - made some mushroom bonito rice, came out pretty OK for a first attempt - and that seems to have helped the headache a bit.

@jakobpunkt alas, I can claim no such thematic correct dinner planning credit!

No pictures of dinner but it worked out really, really well. The bourbon flavour was very subtle though; next time I need to either emulsify it better with the olive oil + honey or maybe stab them and let them soak in the bourbon a bit.

Also, living next door to a crème brulée shop is AWFULLY CONVENIENT.

Hmm. It's cool enough that I think I'll attempt some bourbon honey roasted rainbow carrots tonight.
