      @jrmy @freyo Well, I know that direct mentions (incoming from other instances and outgoing to other instances) are working. I do not know if regular message propagation is working again yet. Also unknown: whether posts to groups are carrying across to / from other instances.

    @freyo That said, I find these federation issues frustrating. (And based on experience with Pump\.io, which is what ActivityPub is based on, the AP protocol will likely solve none of these issues but will add a few more.)

    @freyo I haven't seen a lot of replies from other instances, nor have I seen any non-reply posts coming from outside, but I am able to see posts from #Plateia on other instances, so in theory, conversations are possible (as long as the other side \@mentions the person on this instance).

    I've not much idea who to follow on this account really.

    Don't like the idea of bothering people by following them with an alt I don't use all that much.

    The only people are follow right now are two accounts of my wifey, cos, yknow, tis my wifey, and Sina, just cos for some reason my GNU account can't see her posts (or this accounts posts for that matter)

    @jrmy @lnxw37b1 Federation isn't a simple on/off switch but rather a collection of "known" instances created by the network of whom-follows-whom.  Most of the people followed here are on Mastodon instances rather than other software, so a mastodon federation bug hits harder here than on my other instance.
