    #WrongThink: wrongthink.net was once a GNU Social instance, but they replaced that with a home-grown non-federated site long ago. If you've seen them on some blocklist, that's just because those lists are poorly-researched at best. ( #BlockWars is the usual context in which wrongthink is raised. )

    #postActiv protocols: As I understand it, #OStatus. #Diaspora is under development. Implementing #ActivityPub is a way off.

    @kristofmaven But it is probably not a good idea to make a dev instance one's #Fediverse home. Instead, use another instance as your home in the Fediverse, and use this one as a smaller add-on, where you may (over time) get to experience features and fixes before other instances get them.

    Not for cuckoos and definitely not for private messaging. Incoming #federation here is #b0rken (broken), and has been for some time. Only direct replies and mentions from outside are received, not the normal daily postings from the people you've subscribed to.

    Suggestion: don't make the experimental sites (like this one) your #fediverse home; make them extensions of your home (on another instance).

    I've made several references lately (on various accounts) to #monads' reputation for creating or attracting spittle-dribbling fanatics, usually seen when coming into contact with the #Haskell community.

    I should make it clear that I'm not against either Haskell or monads (or "monoidal functors" generally). I'm just a little put off by adherents' fanaticism.

    @kristofmaven It is supposed to display all the federation that it has received. For some reason, Plateia has not been accepting incoming posts (other than mentions) for a while. If you have subscribers on other instances, they can see your posts, but you can't see theirs unless they @mention someone on this instance.
