I don't like Facebook trying to guess people's mental state, because first responders aside they will sell your crises to the first group to wave enough funds in their face.

As a systems administrator it's important for me to guide other tech kids on the best way forward.
So, as The Smart Girl, I suggest:
Panic. All computers are terrible. Destroy it with a hammer and free yourself from the shackles of modern technology. Frolic in the fields and be safe!

Every init system, OS, piece of software, language or hardware is a tool.
Use what works.
A carpenter isn't going to get laughed out of the workshop for using a certain hammer. So as a fellow tech tradesperson don't be a dick.
