@nerthos Ahh. Well, my favourite ones are about the human experience. I also like talking about ancient/medieval history and about beauty. So this conversation is good since it speaks about relationships. I find that I admire your stance, that you are monogamous and loyal to your woman. Also, that you stick to being hetero... you know that you prefer women. I don't really hear about that so much on here.
-
@nerthos Haha... that's good. What sort of conversations do you like having out of curiosity?
-
@dtluna True. For that, you really would need to tailor your advice to the individual and ask a lot of questions.
-
@nerthos @wowaname I really like this answer. I think that all of those things are important in a relationship, and being able to communicate it all.
-
@sim @wowaname Mutual trust, support, companionship, attraction and loyalty; compatible life plans and values.
-
@dtluna That's good. There wouldn't be a point if it wasn't useful.
-
Sometimes I do feel like my advice is just tolerated. I never know who really wants to hear it, and the people that need it most probably aren't in the right frame of mind to receive it then.

"The spying bishop would clearly be part of the invisible nuns’ origin story. Some pervy bishop kept spying on the nuns every week when they bathed. The nuns felt like they were being watched, but didn’t know by whom or from where. So they prayed for help to protect their modesty, and God sent an angel to teach them the secret art of invisibility. The next time the bishop spied on them, all he saw was the water splashing, towels and scrub brushes flying around seemingly on their own, etc., making him think he’d gone mad."

@ffs Now my head is spinning hearing about how many there are. ;;
-
@wakarimasen @moonman Yeah, it sounds like there is less hassle when it comes to markdown compared with HTML. So I can see why markdown has been included now.
-
@ffs Ahh, that makes more sense. Markdown does seem to be more easy to use in this regard.
-
@moonman Huh... so markdown and HTML are similar, just one does more than the other? Is there a reason that both are used on pleroma?
-
@fallenhitokiri Haha. That sounds rather confusing. Thanks for the explanation. So Markdown and HTML kind of do the same thing, but one does more than the other?
-
@dtluna Clearly I need to get hip with this programming stuff. xD
-
@moonman But what do each of them do? Pleroma has them separate.
-
I must confess, I don't really know the difference between plain text, HTML and markdown.
-
@luma RIP. That isn't so good. How much sleep did you get?
-
@luma That is good to hear! I kinda like having long sleeps but doesn't usually happen.

Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful? Will you still love me when I got nothing but my aching soul?~
