Especially because I am attending gym over one aspect of it.
-
When it comes to BDD, if I have it then I don't think it is extreme in me... at least, not to the extent that I will obsess over it for long periods of time at one time. Although that might just be because I've ignored it and put it out of mind... but going to the gym opens that sore spot up.
-
I'll probably start one of those books next week... maybe. Although I should really finish what I have left over from before. Good evening reads.

Just beautiful!

@solidsanek Aha... I guess we shall see how things go!
-
I have two interesting books in particular this time... one has to do with putting everyday ethics into practice and another is about the daily life of a monk. I think it would be interesting to read about... especially because I feel like I may feel better putting ethics into practice and finding some inner peace and routine.
-
@solidsanek Thanks! I feel like I levelled up. :')
-
@solidsanek I don't! What does that make me?
-
Welp. Guess tomorrow will be gym day. Hope I can wake up early to get there in good time.
-
Also, it is rather interesting reading the government propaganda during WWII for rationing... I didn't realise it was this bad.
-
I thought the soup would be less heavy on my stomach but meh.

When you're young, you just run but you come back to what you need.~
-
Sometimes we have to come back to things when we have a clear head.

@rice Aww... that is the other thing. If you can, learn how to listen to yourself... sit with yourself, and let yourself feel or think whatever you need to. Acknowledge it. See what you can do to change the parts in circumstances that you can change, and for what you can't... just let yourself feel what you need. Sometimes emotions are good motivators... they can move us to change, or alert us to an issue we're having. This is another way that you can put yourself first... meet your needs by listening to yourself to discover what they are. I wish you the best in this.
On another note, please don't feel like you need to shitpost on fedi. You have a lot going on right now as it is. I will continue to follow you whether you shitpost or seriouspost. There is no pressure... just be yourself, post whatever you need to in the moment. You interest me as you are. You are enough, you don't need to provide entertainment to be worth following. I'm grateful that you've allowed us a glimmer into your life, that you are honest about the struggles you are going through... and also for the times that you do want to have fun and shitpost. FWIW!

@rice *Hugs back* Any time. You got this! Ooh... relaxing at home with some tea... sounds just the treat! I like to rest with a good hot chocolate myself! I always like finding some way to treat myself... I also listen to music or massage parts of my body. Pamper myself. It helps. You need a little self-care! :) Maybe a bath! Add bubbles or make it smell nice for a bonus feel-good feeling... then make yourself the tea and find somewhere relaxing to lay down or sit. Wear something really nice. Do this every time after a stressful time. Put yourself first, and don't let yourself forget this! Remember... you've got this. You have a plan. You've said what you need to do is on a difficult level and you will show yourself that you will overcome this too... some self-care, love and patience while you go through this is just what you need!
-
@rice This may surprise you... but I don't actually follow people for the memes or cute jokes.
-
@rice I know it is harder to do and easy for me to say this... but given what you've told us, I think you should be proud of what you've done thus far. Perhaps implementing some stress-busting techniques will help you here, then you can think of the issue with a clearer head. It will come to you in time! Stick it out. You can do this! :)

@rye @guizzy That's good. Don't damage the stones!
-
I picked up some more books today... plenty to be reading now!
-
I think I upset my stomach with a heavy meal again... oops.
