@rye Aw... that's not true! Although it can be difficult to be there or know when something is wrong to be able to help out or listen. Especially when you have your own shit to handle on top of it. ;;
-
@rye Yeah, I read it as everyone rather than everything. So I was going to jokingly say something like, "Speak for yourself... I don't know about you but I'm not shitty." Lol.
-
@rye For a moment there, I thought you were asking why I was so fuckin shitty. :')
-
@nik I think I'm going to have troubles with this one. It's hard to measure if it feels like nothing.
-
What does it feel like to be comfortable with your own body?
-
I'm not sure if I should ask what colour I am...
-
@dwaltiz Aha... he hasn't lost the horniness for sure.

"The Italian trade routes that covered the Mediterranean and beyond were also major conduits of culture and knowledge. The recovery of lost Greek texts, which had been preserved by Arab scholars, following the Crusader conquest of the Byzantine heartlands revitalized medieval philosophy in the Renaissance of the 12th century. Additionally, Byzantine scholars migrated to Italy during and following the Ottoman conquest of the Byzantines between the 12th and 15th centuries, and were important in sparking the new linguistic studies of the Renaissance, in newly created academies in Florence and Venice. Humanist scholars searched monastic libraries for ancient manuscripts and recovered Tacitus and other Latin authors. The rediscovery of Vitruvius meant that the architectural principles of Antiquity could be observed once more, and Renaissance artists were encouraged, in the atmosphere of humanist optimism, to excel the achievements of the Ancients, like Apelles, of whom they read."
We need a revival.

I'm struggling to think of a time when Alex was a white supremacist... :thinking;
-
Anyone know good resources for learning more about the renaissance? Especially for Florence.

@nerthos @awg It is still chugging along over here, sometimes much slower than other times.
-
@awg @nerthos Well... the problem that I am commenting on is not a fault with GS. It is how mastodon and pleroma now function using AP I think. I miss a lot due to that, especially when it comes to knowing when photos are attached in mastodon's case and missing posts that are for followers-only. Well, that and a bug of some sort for SPC which makes posts coming over here hard. The same seems to have happened with FZP. But yeah, I am fortunate to still have access to qvitter which is really what I've mentioned needing. GS served us well for as long as it has. Paved the way... as what came before it paved the way for it.
-
@nerthos Yeah... the migration has definitely been a nightmare for moon, I think. It's still hard for GS to catch posts from SPC unless directly mentioning someone here. My timeline is incomplete which sucks because I really want to be able to use this as my main with qvitter.
-
@awg Ahh... that is good. Just waiting for the stable release and that will get fixed.
-
Thinking about it, it probably does have access to them since I was able to use the mastodon FE for its search function to see very old posts, like the past images option.
-
Interesting how SPC pleroma has trouble with loading past posts from accounts on SPC but not with posts from GS. It loads fine when I try to load this account through the profile made for it. Albeit I don't think it has caught all my old posts which is a concern. At least, it seems to count only the newer posts since the switch over... I haven't tried to go back 303 posts to see how it works. :')

@nerthos @roka I thought roka was always 8 uguu.

@roka @nerthos And you aren't free of sim. ;)
