I really couldn't decide who to root for... but I think it was mainly nerthos in the end. xD
-
That was pretty cool for a last battle.
-
I wanna see Nerthos vs Vriska. :')
-
"This is the actual communist vision!" xD
-
"Roko is playing teh japanese so he has the power of god and anime on his side"
-
@epsiloco I think that is well-placed wariness or caution. I'd be cautious of such claims too.
-
@roko When it comes to deciding how you live your life? I think I'm in support of it being up to the individual... there is some wisdom to be gained listening to the wise, but the ultimate choices belong to the individual that is living the life in question. It will be riddled with mistakes and successes, that is how we learn to grow.
-
@dtluna I thought you might say that! Fortunately, this book agrees with you. It is for us as individuals to decide how to live our life.
-
@epsiloco Well, there are lots of people that claim to be able to do this. I was also reading about this ideal society, where a select few could obtain this morality knowledge and become infallible. Not sure I buy it... not in our nature, and we can't know everything.
-
"Socrates worried about this assumption that only religious people can be moral. He asked his friend Euthyphro what morality is, and Euthyphro sensibly said: 'That which is loved by the gods.'"
-
Can there be moral experts telling you how to live your life?
-
@phildobangnz I mean, I like Age of Empires and watching people play it, but I don't think I could watch it with the whole discord route. ;;
-
@phildobangnz Aha... it won't just translate over like that.
-
RIP me when people use discord to chat instead.
-
@phildobangnz It's non-fiction, it is personal knowledge on how to keep a house for now. I was thinking about for when I'm looking after my own house.
-
@phildobangnz It's very slow-going. I've had it for months and now someone else can! This one was the housekeeping book I mentioned a long while back, probably last year? I don't think I'll get a book type like it again because the bigger the book, the longer it seems to take. It's heavy in my hands.
-
Finished another book that I've been trying to complete for a long time now. Now to complete the next oldest one in line. xD

@dd @detectivehyde How can the coin be stable if political events influence its value? Makes little sense to me.
-
@dd @detectivehyde I do think it has been abused and so I can't put the blame on money itself. How the value of the coin keeps shifting depending on... well, I've forgotten what to call it now. ;-; Anyway, I don't like that. It's no longer the gold standard but something else, and that does rob us of value.
-
@detectivehyde @dd I just kinda think money has made things a bit easier for me and for that I am grateful. I don't need to own animals or have a vegetable patch to sell on... or make beads. Idk. Just trading is easier. I can just buy what I want with money, and the person I am buying from gets to use that money for what they want rather than haggling over items to trade. More convenient I guess.
