@rixx I just read the first three books of the ender's game series, and enjoyed the first two but didn't really much like the third, so i'm going to stop there. i really liked 'do androids dream…', and one of my favourite books ever is probably lolita. i guess i mostly enjoy fictional stuff, strong tendency to sci-fi but that might just be because you read one book and someone recommends something similar, i guess?
I upgraded to android 8.1 and now #Antennapod lost all the little pictures of podcasts (on the main subscriptions screen, individual episodes will still show it). I tried clearing cache and opening it again & refreshing but that didn't work, and I tried moving the image cache to internal storage somewhere in the settings.
No luck. Anyone experience this, or know how to get more info in case i file a bug report?
@rixx two questions: how do you read so much? and do you have a link somewhere to either (1) all book posts or (2) a list of books you'd recommend in general, aside from reviewing what you read that month?
@kernpanik Thanks! thankfully it's cooled down a bit since then and she's doing great. we did lay out a damp towel that she snuggled up to even though she hates being wet, so that seemed to help.
Hah. Whois is gonna have a tough time working under GDPR. Their proposed solution is to be granted exception. The EU is apparently not that eager to work with them.
I mean, I think I kind of like that people's privacy is more important than some corporation being able to track you.
