anytime I'm asked this, my answer will be "whatever fiction book I happen to be reading right this moment," so I'm gonna name a couple.
Right now I'm reading Iain Banks Culture novels, so I think "CONSIDER PHLEBAS" needs to be a movie
Also RIVER OF TEETH by Sarah Gailey, the Bone Universe series by Fran Wilde, and the Dominion Of The Fallen series by Aliette de Bodard
