For example, are cat pics hidden because they might be triggers for dog lovers?

I'm just curious. I've decided I'm not going to read any posts label sensitive. Not because I'm sensitive but because I've wasted too much time clicking for posts which shouldn't have required a click to view.

Help me out. Is it a thing to hide all content even if it's not the slightest bit risque, controversial, sensitive, etc? I see so many posts which say "Sesitive content Click to view" but are not sensitive at all.
