@bob @yegortimoshenko read the comments in #41. They already hard rejected that, and all other good ideas. This is a compromise that sucks less than just never having the bug fixed.

Just opened a pull request for SKS Keyserver that fixes a "wontfix" bug. Let's hope they merge it!

gpg --auto-key-locate wkd --locate-key micah@micahflee.com

Also, did you know that sks also doesn't verify sigs on revocation certificates? It just displays them as if they're all valid

I recently had someone contact me asking if my PGP key was safe to use because there appears to be a user id called "Dontuseee" on it -- it's actually a malicious user id that someone else added, not signed by key.

It prompted me to re-read this bug report that would be trivial to fix, but the sks keyserver devs *refuse* to make PGP simpler to to use at all, so instead they marked it wontfix.

@jankoekepan nope, it is not the job of police to intimidate and often shoot suicidal people. Unless I'm missing something- can you send me a link to the job description you're referencing?

@jankoekepan a "wellness check" doesn't have anything to do with law enforcement. She didn't commit any crimes, and their violent behavior could only escalate her mental health crisis. Breaking into her apartment with guns drawn isn't police "doing their job", it's an excessive use of force.
