There's no way to rescind followership on someone other than blocking them, is there?

@48kRAM Oh wow, I didn't know Eugene Levy had anything to do with that. I didn't remember him acting in it, but now I see he just produced it.

What do you think if #ManiacMansion were turned into a TV series where each episode is a different run through the game?
People like hearing a story they already know, especially if there are minor variations. And there's already a precedence for this kind of storytelling. #RunLolaRun / #LolaRennt basically gives Lola three "lives" to run through the "game", and she obviously remembers things from one "life" to the next.

@feld @stickjan We'd have to take it apart and it's not very obvious how to do so. We already drenched it in water so it's possibly already shorted and dead.

@feld @stickjan No, the honey got into everything. Slots and holes.

Man, @stickjan 's expensive headphones got completely covered in thick honey during a little walking accident. They were inside a bag with a jar of honey she wanted to give away. She tripped and bust the jar open.
We tried just rinsing them in water, but I doubt they've survived. There wasn't a battery we could obviously remove before rinsing, so let's see what happens.

Trying to get back into the swing of things with #Qt programming. Turns out all I had to do was find one stupid little problem that seemed easy to solve but I can't solve to get hooked again.

This is kind of trivial and useless and well-known, but I just realised that if \(p(x)\) is the charpoly of matrix/operator \(T\) with nonzero constant term \(c\), then \(q(x) := 1 - p(x)/c\) has zero constant term, by Cayley-Hamilton \(q(T) = 1\) and since \(q(x) = xr(x)\), we have that \(r(T) = T^{-1}\).
So if you know the charpoly of an operator/matrix (hah! as if!) you have a polynomial formula for its inverse.
