It is going to take about 20 sessions to watch it all the way through. Not sure that is an investment I am willing to do...
Know someone who is planning a digital security training by themselves? It's dangerous to go alone! Encourage them to teach with a friend, and read these tips https://sec.eff.org/articles/first-training
I notice that the separate sections on Nextcloud *mostly* have their own icons.
It makes it interesting to pull in for the Chromebook/Cloudready laptop. It is gearing up for a complete office system.
When a non-programmer (that would be me) pulls in Git, even the Github desktop, it feels like the might of millions is at my fingertips,
I don't know, you know, what to do with it. But it is here, therefore I am potentially awesome.
Funny thing about work software. I have a fairly powerful work laptop, usually docled to a dual-screen setup. But it is repeatedly demonstrated to me that the power i needed by Windows 10, not the actual applications, most of which are browser-based anyway. I am really tremendously close to being able to run the operation off a Chromebook.
@tpheine @NYbill @theru @jezra I have the same - can not follow Jezra from mstdn.io.
@tpheine @theru I am assuming this is it? https://mstdn.io/media/Umc4N4ufa_yOSk6_wU8

What a week for libre graphics applications! First #RawTherapee, then #darktable, and now #krita has released version 4.0!
@craigmaloney Indeed, not an enviable task.
"...And lastly, I'd like to thank Donald Rumsfeld, for doubling our membership numbers in the past year by showing everyone just how important our work is."

What's the deal with this HTTPS thing anyway? Here is why it's important...
New blue UK passports will be £120m cheaper if made in Europe -
https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/mar/22/contract-to-print-uk-passports-abroad-will-save-120m - No way this is not funny. Laughter through tears, as the Russians say.
@craigmaloney Have been using Tusky for a long time, solid tool
@btcprox Exactly the same for me. The thing is, there are quite a few news outlets on SOME MASTODON OR OTHER - it is just pertty hard to dig them up. And I would rather follow them through Mastodon than the other channels.
@btcprox I think a lot of people are going over to this side of the fence after the recent discussions of Facebook.
As always, the challenge is finding the right people, and that can be a bit more challenging in a decentralized model...
