god I'm stuck on project euler 54 not because it's a particularly hard problem but I really really hate card games. fuck poker
-
@einebiene Morning! I wish you strong coffee and a good friday :)
-
@robbie Indeed, the internet seems have changed the landscape quite a bit. You can find people with similar interests so easily, and open access to all papers ever written if you include libgen + all the amazing resources available. I spent must of my time writing my bachelor thesis just trying to derypt wonderful things on the nlab wiki. It's so nice. I just wish I was a bit smarter /had more talent. When studying math you really realize your limitations and that there are some REALLY brilliant people out there hehe
-
@lwflouisa You have to ask the developer about that.
-
@robbie That's quite a coincidence, I started following that exact account maybe 30 minutes ago!
-
instead of studying algebraic topology I'm trying to come up with a joke about cohomologies being (co)ol. it's not going very good.
-
@awg @shpuld @lnxw48a1 Thanks for the pointer!
-
@awg @shpuld @lnxw48a1 Wow, didn't know about this. Do they like scan a signature and then "plot" it?
-
@lnxw48a1 @shpuld @awg If true, that is both really cool and really creepy!
-
I'm not drunk, just in a good mood I promise!
-
I really enjoy all of you. Even if it feels like shouting into the void I'm smiling.
-
I just wish the federation between mastodon and gnusocial worked flawlessly. still seems a bit funky at times.
-
I've really taken it for granted for sometime now but it *is* really cool. Almost makes me wanna set up my own instance again.
-
When listening to the gnu world order episode about mastodon I was reminded about how cool the fediverse is. There is a nontrival cyberpunk realism factor to it. (even though I think *someone* really should make it live in onion-land)

nobody told me that being politically organized was such a full time job

summer jobs for someone who knows math and a little programming/general computer stuff? uppsala/stockholm/hälsingland/remote. any tips or ideas?
-
@deshipu Thank you a bunch, highly appreciated!
-
there is no "pythonic" way to import module located in .. relative to current working dir where my program lives? All solutions I've found looks a bit messy?! :(
-
@boneidol oh really good stuff!
