I wonder if there is a way to do UNIX shell style aliases for URL links in Firefox, to where I don't need to use bookmarks.

I'm also catching up with my Mathematics. I'm about to pass an exam to pass into Calculus for January. I'm then going to tackle How to Prove It by Velleman, and maybe some real analysis.

I'm acing my classes. Somehow I've managed a 100% on every Biology exam/quiz.

You must absolutely read the latest 6th edition if you read this book, as it includes sections on women and children throughout history, more cultures of the ancient past, and all of that. It is Ok. I'm using it to provide a ToC for what I might want to actually dive into more seriously later on, and for this it functions well.
