Then there’s this salty bitch. All she does is pee and sleep on people. Sometimes she’ll pee on people then sleep. Either way, her bladder is tiny and so is her courage. She will run from her reflection in the water bowl.

All that room from a tiny bladder is filled with salt and pettiness. She will pee on you while YOURE sleeping.

No offense, but please keep responses until after someone is finished speaking/typing. I find that a lot of men (especially in tech) will speak over women or their juniors, interrupting them mid-sentence to drive their point across when they should be listening and then responding.

Its kinda rude and demeaning.

@InspectorCaracal if you asked anyone 10 years ago what a tweet was, you’d either be given definition of bird sounds or be given a weird ass look. “Tweeting” was new. But in essence, tweeting is just posting a status update (taken from FB or MySpace). They used Tweet because it was new and in-brand.

Their user base took to that term and adapted to it, much like Mastodon’s user base (and potential users) can and will adapt to instance.

You asked if it would be easier for people to understand community over instance. I said no, because people learn their environment’s colloquialism. It’s not about giving anyone the cold shoulder to “figure it out” it’s just mastodon’s term for community, which is easily understandable. It’s obvious. A given.

Then I used an example from twitter. A tweet is just a status or a post. 1/2

People learned how to say tweet when sending out a “status”. I’m sure they can learn what an instance is. (Coming from a NON tech person)

Not sure if it was an error??? I literally don’t talk about anything or to anyone unless they are an author I follow, so which tweet violated their TOS??

I’d like to know cause I’m pretty sure I can link them to drumfps entire page and ask why he hasn’t been suspended, for like, inciting nuclear war and stuff.

So the bird site just suspended my account... which is weird because I haven’t tweeted in like, two days.
