@kensanata @juliobiason Thanks for the heads up. I let #gohugo folks know, as Hugo Modules uses go modules:

I put in one letter to find the most visited URLs, and then shared my relationship to them:

This is a thing we used to do for fun, but I like it as I don't actually visit many sites, and this paints a picture of what I use, as well as compromises made. ^_^
Go now defaults to attempting to fetch code dependencies from a proxy operated by Google before getting it from source. This feels a bit weird. By default, you are basically leaking the names of your dependencies when you build code.

Most times I refer to #GPL, without version. Doesn't matter to me in most contexts.
Okay: I *think* there are multiple #BSD licenses, with variable clauses. Is it safe to refer to all of them as BSD, without qualifier? When is it important?
A #gohugo feedback vote is happening about adding a dialect of #python to Hugo for generating pages from data sources (MS-Git link):

Remember to ask the young adults in your life if they've registered to vote and to sort it urgently if they're not.
Politely walk them through the process of registering and voting and why it's vitally important if needed and be helpful and empowering rather than preachy and attacking:

We've soon got the opportunity for an admittedly far from perfect socialist government. Much rather that than the fascist shitshow we've sleepwalked into though.
Folks who do wikidata, would appreciate support on my proposal to remove the constraint that anyone added to an item as its programmer must have a "sex or gender" statement on their own wikidata item record: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Property_talk:P943#Other_%22creator%22_types_do_not_require_sex_or_gender
Got a lot of the way, but mapping all the fields required took up more time than I expected. Will write up more tomorrow. ^_^
Hey #Oakland folks! I'm holding open hours at #ImpactHubOakland today! That means you can *ask maiki anything* (though stuff I know about will get better results)! ^_^
Also, I'll be kinda live-blogging building a payment/subscription workflow with #WordPress, #GravityForms, and #Stripe.

The app store for #eelo / #efoundation is highly suspect. Redistributing large amounts of proprietary software seemingly without license and mixing it with the hard work of #fdroid with zero transparency.
It would be interesting if it got a lot of attention and pressure could be brought to bear on the project, to hold itself to a higher standard. #android
Putting out another call: I'm looking for #musicians using #Linux or #opensource software to create their tunes.
All genres welcome, as long as it's quality!
This is for my podcast Linux For Everyone. To be honest, this stuff is hard to find.
Help me find it!
I'm building a #homepage, but slowly and verbosely:
https://talkgroup.xyz/t/making-a-website-home-on-the-web/3923?u=maiki
It will eventually be a modular #gohugo site deploy to a #DigitalOcean #spaces CDN, and I am working on it a little each day.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has rejected an attempt by the Trump administration to deny detained migrant children soap, toothpaste and beds.
“There are many Hong Kongers and other smart people writing online who can explain the political context of the protests, the likelihood of intervention, and what this means in a deeper way. I am just a visitor who perhaps thinks too much about fish cakes when being tear gassed.”

Of course Maciej Cegłowski went to #HongKong protests and wrote a brilliant piece, with references to how the ’80s Soviet–American culture shock is as great as the 2010s America–HK one.
@n8 Then I've got dozens of individuals to "advise". ^_^
