I've been using #Orbot + #Orfox for about a month now, with no noticeable battery drain, or even changes in experience aside from the fact that it now takes me seconds to retrieve information, rather the microseconds.
No one has used this to their advantage, so I think I am doing okay.
Good evening #sdf and the wider #fediverse! Tonight I’ll ask, what would be your perfect Linux #distro or what do you needs to be added or subtracted from the #bsds?
Haha, #Oceans8 is going to be great for me! Why? Because Susan **hates** heist movies! Mentioning the other Ocean's movies gives em cold sweats. Just can't handle the tension.
But the folks in this movie are all amazing, and honestly, I think the only problem will be not enough screentime for each. Susan will *have* to see it!
Are there substantial differences between #Ubuntu Server and #CentOS/#Fedora Atomic?
I like the #GNOME distro in Fedora, but I realize I stick with my server software, which is kinda weird. And I know it is odd to switch when Ubuntu is defaulting to GNOME, but a big change like that also kinda freaks me out, and I am not sure I want to stick with 18.04 for two years...
Remember that time I fell down a meta hole inside that other meta hole, and then blogged about maiki and blogs on a site literally called "maiki blog"?
@cev it would be more accurate to say it is like #GITSSAC.
The format is the same, and there are similar roles among both teams, including a full support staff remotely running missions with agents in the field.
They also do debriefings the same way, and the relationship dynamics are eerily similar (sans romantic undertones).
It isn't a perfect comparison, but I definitely think the writers took inspiration.
And is it good? I'd say as good as the original #MacGuyver. *Very* fun! ^_^
Governance makes sense, and sends the right signals. But I always wonder if that is intimidating...
We want to invite folks to suggest stuff and then we discuss it, reach consensus, that sort of thing.
Also, as our numbers go up, eventually we will have to deal with some assholes, but I expect some committee to help with that, and I wonder if that fits "governance" better.
