@coachdrewglobal Very cool! Also, I attended a dance recital at a theater at Holy Names. It has an amazing location, up on the Oakland Hills, where the East Bay sprawls out beneath it.
I told Susan I'd love if Clover got to go to school on a beautiful campus like that, but how unlikely I'd support that one... but now maybe that campus could be an option! ^_^

@satchmoz if the world's astronomers and astrophysicists aren't concerned, then I pop that bubble immediately, but from the description, the angle of it's rotation, and what that all implies about the materials, it *very* much is a capital ship or landing pod or remote system mapping unit. ^_^

@slacka yeah... I had a component for that... I forgot what I called it, but it was the layer that coordinated our warehousing/inventory and sales channels, including B2B (and the ones we considered all had vendor portals like that, for wholesale).
Product Information Database. I'll keep that in mind. I am kinda forming my own shorthand, so I think of them as layers, or lanes maybe, so I'll need a snappier, "layer" name for it.

A couple years ago I created this presentation that went over 9 key systems needed to run a company that produces and sells physical goods, primarily selling them online.
I am not sure I grabbed it when I left that company, and now it is kinda hard to recall. Probably all those sweet fades I did in the slideshow...
