@xmanmonk I had some of my husband's corn chips and black bean chipotle dip from Trader Joe's last night. So good.

It's been so long since I phlogged, it took me 10 minutes to figure out why my 644 permission text file was not
loading in the gopher protocol.

This may be evaporative, especially as it's a post of superficial examination (i.e. skim), but on the off-chance people would read even a grocery list if it were on #gopherspace exist, here goes:

@gemlog My kid learned very early he was named for Chaplin and not the brother of Diana, Princess of Wales. His teasing about my Chapliniana is loving and so on point.

@gemlog I watched and understood the entirety of a 26-minute game show episode on CBUFT because the subject was Charles Chaplin. I seem to remember "Bobino" in English but that never happened -- maybe my 5-year-old mind was translating it.

@gemlog I'm watching Henri-Georges Clouzot'ss film "Les Diaboliques" (1955) and I can understand the brief sentences and the last half or third of the longer ones.

Listening to #francophone radio station CBU, and set a default log-out newspage to ca-fr language. CBU plays better music, and the ca-fr filters out irrelevant and inane en-[CA|US] noise. If I reach a point where those content sources bother me, it means my French vocabulary and listening are improving.

This article showed up in my 'Pocket' (Firefox Browser collection of what I'd supposedly find interesting) 18 hours after I left my screen-unlock password and my password for keepass2 with my family, for when I step out and don't come back

In a synchronicity moment with a longterm friend, I logged onto #birdsite for the first time in months. Four tweets about shrinking distance, bridging the gap between private thought and public consciousness. The irony is that I know only my longterm friend will read them, when I want at least 1% of my followers to read them, and I could have just DM'd her.
I wish she'd give me a mailing address so I could favour her with slow-cooked correspondence in colourful ink.

Today I took the tot to my alma mater to ask about student advising appointments. I learned my borrowing privileges were suspended from overdues. I had no idea university libraries could hold overdue fines for decades.
