Last week while toddling about in North Vancouver my friend and I sang the excerpt of Montana Slim (Wilf Carter)'s "My Little Yoho Lady' from the Eat-More candy bar commercial (record is sped up slightly, and scratched in the commerrcial)

I think the deer like hanging around our place because my teenage son's hormone stench stinks up the area so that predators can't smell the deer. My son's "T-pose" for expressing dominance or alpha male status doesn't bother them in the slightest.

What the "Hinterland Who's Who" info spots from Parks & Wildlife Canada don't tell us:
- fawns sound like squeaky toys;
- does don't really fight. The "aggressor" doe hoofs at the belly of the reclining doe to say "hey, hey, don't you have somewhere else to be?" And the defensive doe gets up and walks away like "yes, I do. Thank you for reminding me. I'm due for my 16h00 graze on Beecher Street." Then the aggressor doe silently leaves the territory, fawn following.

@g_love Some say a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet causes sweat to smell of ammonia. To the cat it smells like cat pee, and no other cat should be on our bed (his sleep space, his sanctuary/territory), so he flipped out.

@g_love I didn't have keto flu, but the ketones altered my body scent so my cat didn't recognize it. At 1:30 am he leaped on our bed and circled me thrice, yowling, then jumped off the bed and ran away.
That was the only time he did that

the wifi where we are has a weak signal. I get more done because my stress is too high and to-do list too long for me to fuss with moving about the domicile l ooking for a signal.
OTOH I'm aware of my addiction but it makes me resentful that the family sit and stare for hours into their devices. Also, having wifi is helpful for finding prospective long-term accommodation.

i don't get the big deal over the Equifax class action compensation. Do most people have credit monitoring services? Only way one can get $125 is if one already has credit monitoring services, otherwise one gets free credit monitoring services from all three bureaus.
