@tek probably could just put it on your connection to the Internet? I know that'd work for me.
The best part of everything going digital is that now a small hand written "Thank you" note has such an impact. Cheap and simple, but huge value.
Nothing gets me more than when people use ad-supported services that they don't pay for, then complain that there are ads.
@cwebber yes, but that is the markets in general. If you've got money there you're better off telling everyone how great it is and that they should put their money there.
That being said, you have to invest some in the markets the way for instance retirement is setup in the US. Your best bet is ETF index funds.
@popey on my TODO for one of my Pi's is to make a PiHole snap and put it on there. I have some other ideas too, but that's the first step.

Kid's school just setup a parent single-sign-on, which dumps me into a Wiki that seems to be managed by Sharepoint. My ID has the magic string "i:0#.w|" in front of it, so by using this decoder:
It looks like I have a Windows user account on their network.
This parent portal could be more useful than I originally thought.

@ryangorley I like to think that they dressed as fish and experimented on larger airplanes and tried it out themselves. It makes the story better.
And I really want one of the outfits for Halloween.
@liw yeah, I've talked to their support about it. They promised to look into it. Who knows.
Apparently their servers are hosted in the UK, which makes the whole thing a bit weird.
Great, an app that claims to be anonymous but provides two way communication on a network the school controls. Clearly it is "anonymous" and potentially harmful. — https://www.dallasnews.com/news/education/2018/08/31/frisco-isd-launches-words-matter-campaign-andmobile-app-boost-school-safety

@InspiroBot I think that inspirobot just invented Scientology!
I don't want to contridict the experts at Division of Wildlife Resources, but nothing about that video looks less stressful for the fish. — https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-45362423
@andymcmillan nice, I would love to hear how that works out and if people participate.
Do you have a location on the badge to put them or are you expecting people to put them on their lapel or lanyards?
