Hey FedIntelligence and coved swarm brains.

Does anyone know a project (preferably FOSS and Linux compatible) which can manage several displays (with raspis or alike) for meeting rooms and are easy to use?

Scenario is we have a couple of meeting rooms and the "info signs" (which meeting) are printed out and hung at the door.

We thought about replacing those with small displays to show actual and upcoming meetings. Should be manageable by our reception personnel.

Hope you got what I meant.

2018 is half done. What I want you to be aware of is backups. Not sure how many pictures you have done, how many projects you were involved in, how many doodles or sketches you did and all of it is only stored in one place.

Think about the things that are important to you and if possible make a #backup. Because once lost it's gone. Usually forever.

If you need help on how to do backups ask for it. But do it.

Gerade mit Hilfe der Störungshotline der DB Ticket Automaten selbigen "gehacked".

Was war passiert? Hatte mir eben ein Ticket kaufen wollen, bezahlt am Automaten und Ticket kam nicht raus. Gleiches Phänomen ist kurz vor mir einem anderen Kunden widerfahren.

Hotline angerufen, sehr freundlichen Support bekommen.

Lösung: Fahrstreckeninformation drucken, egal welche Verbindung. Anschließend kam die Verbindung plus der beiden "hängenden" Tickets raus.

Muss man wissen.

I know, I know. I could go all $search_engine "XFCE GTK Theme" "XFCE Icon Theme" and dig through a gazillion results looking for some sweet sweet eye candy for my XFCE desktop.

But - and yes this is usually the point where that "But(t)" comes up - I know you are wonderful people and probably done this yourself often enough so I am asking right ahead:
