i finally managed to get it automatically adding download links if i drop files into the folder but my solution is a l'il bit janky so i'm not super satisfied, it feels like there should be a proper variable for this

the goal is to easily be able to just add new child pages with different formats (so: images, text, audio) just by dropping a subfolder into the main page, and let the reader select which one they want with a tab

i've got grav generating the tabs with the appropriate titles, which feels like *something*, even if it's currently placing all child pages on top of each other

my fun project for tomorrow is figuring out how to get grav to detect types of child pages and embed them in nav-tabs using theme templates instead of trying to make it work manually

i need. to re-do this grav theme from scratch, i think. i mean i needed to do that anyway but also technically i should have been using inheritance instead of just modifying files willy-nilly, probably.

@lildanzig i just want you to know that i really appreciate the amount of work you put in to editing the audio on IDEOTV--it's on a very short list of podcasts i can actually listen to in the car, because so many of them fail to really equalize audio and so one person will be really loud, or quiet, or there will be huge spikes and it'll all get muddied up and be unlistenable. you guys always sound good+clear (and the segment themes rule obvs)

i'm almost up to 5gb and i'm being so superstitious to try and keep this fucking download from timing out. if i just. if i keep the page with the link open, and keep the downloads open in their own window, and if i keep the window focused... maybe... just maybe...

i've downloaded a gig so far and if this download stalls out i'm going to... try again. but i'll be real mad about it.
