the best part of "riki can win by himself" is that it's supposed to be a joke but he really consistently can, and therefore it makes perfect sense that shulk would associate a hungry ball with ULTIMATE POWER

shulk had a vision of the future and realized that they needed someone who could win by himself. the roundest, hungriest boy.

@nightpool ran it unloaded, if something were wrong with the rollers/bearings it would have just kept making the horrible noise regardless (and that would have been the expensive thing to have to fix)

troubleshooting indicates the treadmill mostly makes horrible noises when my fat ass in on it, suggesting it might just need a special mat now that it's not on carpet anymore. hooray?

that's setting aside the issue of the HIDEOUS RATTLING SOUND it has started to make, which probably means we fucking broke it when we moved

@teslas_moustache it's a podcast about multi-level marketing schemes, it's interesting but. listening to people be outright evil is a lot easier than listening to women who are actually trying to look outside themselves and have empathy but still landing so far afield because they've bought in so hard to prosperity gospel.
