@lindentreeisle mc beaton's agatha raisin series—i listened to the first audiobook ages ago and just noticed my library has the second, haha

i'm only 1½ books in but i like that while other cozy mysteries answer the question 'why is this woman solving murders' with 'she's uniquely knowledgeable on a niche subject that comes in handy', agatha raisin answers with 'she's just a huge bitch'

money saving tip: buy a lunchbox and pack your own lunch instead of buying it, because you never know when there will be a huge sheet cake in the break room that no one else seems to be eating and after lunch when no one's looking you can wash out your lunchbox and fill it with cake to take home for later

sometimes i understand why linux is acting weird and other times it recognizes two fingers as one and three fingers as two when i'm just trying to scroll like a normal person

ugh!! i have already finished off like half a loaf (don't judge me) and i am NOT happy about how dense my sourdough has been lately. i blame the oven, which is incapable of maintaining a steady temperature

i experimented with brushing the loaves with coconut oil but they definitely didn't get as dark as with olive oil. it would probably be excessive to try butter next time... however...
