@Ricardus It happens, it's part of the human mind. Recall scientific papers need three independent studies to validate them. Happens much more often than people think.

@Ricardus In science and technology it's called experimenter error. I've personally witnessed a lab chemist writing down readings from a dead pH meter. It's also why they have to have multiple sightings of seaborne downed aircraft wreckage.

@goosey Have you put the source in a repos anywhere. I ask because I used to use microEMACS on my Atari ST under OS9/68000. I have a Raspberry Pi, RISCOS and the C compiler but haven't learnt how to use them yet. I could at least be a tester for you.
