"puppies" is a great gender neutral way to refer to a group of people, and it's a great compliment to compare anyone to the most perfect animals alive

LB: i think star trek officers should all be required to call each other "ma'am" as a gender neutral term instead of "sir" tbh

girls
the new gender neutral way to address people on the internet after having used “guys” too often. -

i have this bad habit of finding something i really like only to figure out it's not available locally, no longer being made, and/or it's absurdly expensive and not worth it.

there are a surprising amount of people out there that mistake shibas/akitas for foxes. yes, even when the tails are visible.

i'd install store functionality if possible but it doesn't exist for this version of windows 10. unfortunate.

there are a couple games i want to play that are windows 10 exclusives but i don't have the app store enabled on my desktop (windows enterprise ltsb) and my tablet can't run most games on even lowest settings.

i loved the concept of basically being able to build entire cities out of household items with no monetary restrictions, no laws, nothing preventing you from doing what you'd like beyond your own imagination and of course the limits of what is actually physically possible

i used to love watching george shrinks as a kid and thinking about what it would be like to be that tiny. not even as a kink thing. i just thought it'd be really cool to be that small because then you'd have more agency to do whatever the hell you want since basically nothing you could do could harm someone else. and since you're tiny, things like toy cars and dollhouses become extremely affordable and sometimes way more luxurious alternatives to the real stuff they're modeled after

honestly it's incredibly fucked up that any kind of insurance exists not to mention things like car insurance being mandatory.
i mean, shit, the concept that an accident destroying your stuff or your health/life, is just another thing that you're supposed to deal with yourself and take the fall for if you don't "prepare" for it (give more money to capitalist scum) ...completely asinine
and we practically blame people for things beyond their control, too.

pretty sure hearing about the concept of life insurance as a kid was legitimately traumatising
like...what an extremely morbid concept. many people may only think of it in the context of "oh well it gets you some money just in case you die" but the fact of the matter is, we shouldn't really have to worry about money ever, especially not when someone we care about has just died!!!
it's extremely predatory too. it's just people making money off of the fear of death and poverty

@wishdream yeah, i'm sorta thinking that, but i'm hoping it was just a bunch of things that the phone does automatically, coincidentally overlapping at an unusual time to heat up the phone
